Hi. I'm a journalist and data scientist. These days I work as a data reporter at ProPublica, where I use numbers to investigate abuses of power and betrayals of the public trust. I also teach classes and trainings in data journalism and coding. In a past life, I researched the effectiveness of education programs. I live in New York City, where one of my favorite events is the annual Great Saunter.
